首先何为香港驾照？

香港驾照（HONG KONG SPECIAL ADMINISTRATIVEREGION DRIVING LICENCE）是在香港境内使用的驾照，并非所谓的国际驾照（INTERNATIONAL DRIVING PERMIT）

香港运输署可免试签发香港正式驾驶执照的认可国家或地方名单

可见是包含中国大陆的，所以中国大陆公民可以面试签发香港正式驾照。

下面再来看看澳洲各个州对驾照的要求：

塔斯马尼亚州

拥有中国驾照的WHVer，可以持官方认可的翻译件在塔州驾驶驾照所对应的机动车.

显然香港并不在列表之内。

对于持有香港驾照的WHVer 分为两个年龄段处理并有不同的要求，25岁以下及25岁以上，必须是持有香港驾照的满足一定时间的年份（ minimum Provisionallicence period 不同年龄时间不同），才能够直接换取。

新南威尔士州（NSW）

中国驾照在新州可以持翻译件无限制使用，但是需满足以下条件

Driving in NSW on an overseas licence

If you hold an overseas licence, you are allowed to drive the vehiclescovered by your overseas licence in NSW indefinitely, as long as:

· You remain a temporary overseas visitor

· Your overseas licence remainscurrent

· You have not been disqualified fromdriving in NSW or anywhere else

· You have not had your licence suspendedor cancelled, or your visiting driving privileges withdrawn

· You carry your overseas driveror rider licence. If your licence is not written in English, youmust also carry an English translation, or an International DrivingPermit.

关于拥有非澳洲驾照换成新州驾照，根据你持有驾照的年限换不同的牌照

但是注意，如果你没有通过相关考试，你将不能够继续开车，必须从L牌照开始申请，也就是初学者，so 请慎重考虑。

如果是非英文的驾照翻译件的准备，需要是以下官方提供认可的，其他的并不能被认可。

If your overseas licence orconfirmation letter is not written in English, you must provide an official translation.

Translations are only acceptable ifthey are from:

· Multicultural NSW (previously Community Relations Commission of NSW) Visitthe MNSW website formore information

· The Free Translating Service provided by the Departmentof Social Services (DSS) orpreviously the Department of Immigration and Citizenship, now the Department ofImmigration and Border Protection (DIBP). The free translation service is onlyavailable to eligible people. Visit theDSS website for more information.

· For South Korean (Republic of Korea) licences only,we accept translations from the Consulate-General of the Republic of Korea, asthe Consulate verifies the licence details with the relevant South Korean(Republic of Korea) driver licence authority

· For Republic of China (Taiwan) licences only,we accept translations from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO),Sydney, as TECO verifies the licence details with the relevant Republic ofChina (Taiwan) driver issuing authority.

Translations obtained through any othermeans are not acceptable.

关于香港驾照在新州，属于B类地区，根据年龄限制有相对应的规定，年龄满足25周岁以上的，可以持有香港驾照一年以上，含25周岁，不需要参加考试换取新州驾照
